Explore music and movement with our adult Contemporary class. We will start with a full body warm up and stretch then dive into basic technique, improvisation and a short combo. If you're looking for something active to start your week with then this is the perfect class for you!
Tap dance focuses on teaching dancers the ability to communicate dance through sound. You will learn basic tap skills and combinations while increasing awareness of rhythm and syncopation. We will help every dancer broaden their understanding of Tap by teaching progressively through the year and allowing each student to master techniques at their own pace.
Using dance inspired conditioning and fitness exercises, Dance Fit is a fun way to sweat and gain strength! No experience necessary.
Do you want to build confidence, strength and performance skills? Come take our Heels class at X Dance Company and start adding some sass to your life! This class will consist of a warm up, ab workout, basic Heels technique and a short combo. No experience is required, we will make sure you're building the appropriate skills you need so you can kill it on the dance floor. Heels optional*
Inspired by a commercial style of Hip Hop dance, Jazz Funk (also known Street Jazz) is fast paced with quick gestures and movements. This class will start with a full body warm up, stretch and combo. Since this is a choreography based class, this will help build skills in memory recall and performance. Dance it out with us every Thursday night!
With an emphasis on core strength, Pilates helps to improve flexibility, posture and balance. Pilates is a full body work out that will leave you feeling strong and refreshed!
